My work is intended to appeal to our most basic human emotions through lurid visual cues and a visceral manipulation of materials — an attempt to capture feelings of love and longing and all the sloppiness therein.

I'm plagued by the anxiety of my happiness, brought on by my dread of loss. My work is an admittedly feeble attempt to immortalize precious moments. By preserving them, I’m pursuing the impossible goal of having any control over the inevitability and chaos of mortality.
